Calibration Instructions

for JC Controls, LN2 Level Controllers

Calibration procedures are simple and require only a DC volt meter with a range of 0 to 135VDC, and a small slotted screwdriver. Depending on the model of controller there will be from one to three sensors that will need to be calibrated.

Depending on which unit you have you will need a PC Board Layout diagram. Pick one of the units below.

    1) Place all of the sensors into LN2 and turn on the PC board ( complete units set power switch to Auto ).

    2) With the screw driver turn all the RTRIM's (See Diagram) so that the slot is perpendicular to the PC boards surface.

    3) Set your DC volt meter to a scale of 0 to 135VDC or greater. Find the diagram that matches your board. Connect the (-) lead of your meter to point (A), then connect the (+) lead to point marked (B).

    4) Look at the reading of the DC volt meter, if the voltage is greater than 104 the sensor will not need any more adjustment. If the number is less, adjust RTRIM B until the voltage is 104 VDC.

    5) For boards with more than one sensor, repeat steps 3 & 4 for points (C) & (D) if applicable. Keep (-) lead on point (A).

Your LN2 Level Controller is now calibrated for optimum performance.
